My Ipad Pro 2017 bent. I bent it back and now it won't charge.

My Ipad Pro 2017 got slightly bent on the right edge (looking at the screen) while it was in a case. I noticed when the screen looked like it was being pushed on in that area, the bend wasn’t noticeable until i looked at it on the side.

I bent it back gently by hand until the screen pressure spot was gone, and now the Ipad won’t charge. The battery is discharging as usual, just nothing happens when I plug it in.

Is there some specific connection that could have been broken or disconnected by a slight bend forward and back in the center of the right edge?

I’ve tried different cables, different AC adapters, different wall plugs, and cleaned the port. This happened right after I bent it back so I’m pretty sure that’s the issue.

Here are pictures of the bend:

you might get away with having the charge port replaced but looking at where the bend is lots could have happened, a chip could have lifted. A board-level repair shop might be able to deal with it. (ipadrehab)
