Have you tried rebooting/changing usb port/test on other pc(so we can confirm it is not system-related) or location (signal interferences)?

@simone_i Simone very nice of you to respond. I did try to change the USB port and I had a tech guy come and he said there was no problem with the PC. I did try the keyboard on my Mac and I didn't have a problem. I'm typing now this response to you and all seems good and then in a few minutes al of a sudden the keys won't respond.

Ok, if we rule out damage from a drop and you also checked the batteries are fine, I guess there could be an issue with the transmission signal. Maybe some other wifi-device emitting nearby?
