What is your SSD? Make & Model

Did you replace the HD SATA cable as well?

Make sure it is formatted to Mac OS journaled

On boot hold

Command ⌘OptionR keys at startup to boot to OS X Internet Recovery

When the options come up click.Disk utility then format the SSD then the Mac will see it
