What adhesive tape to use for Surface Pro 5?

I am replacing the battery on a Surface Pro 5 and re-using the screen assembly.

Does anyone know what type of adhesive tape would be best for re-assembly.

I want to find out what is close to the factory tape in thickness, adhesion, and type as possible. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve always used Tesa tape brand (link below) with excellent results. Its the right thickness and holds very well.

I mostly use 2 and 4 mm.

Perfect, this is what I have on hand from a previous Surface Pro 4 repair.

Did they change the tape to a thicker foam type tape for the Surface Pro 5?

I thought I read somewhere that it's different the previous models.

That I do not know. I've just had great look with Tessa tape on all repairs that either dont come with precut adhesive or need a little bit more applied.
