Random triangles and flashing geometric shapes appear on screen ...
Suddenly, without warning or notice, my dear ole Mac has begun flipping out!
Parts of the screen will morph into perfectly shaped triangles or straight edge shapes which will flash, contort, pulse, etc. If I move the cursor to another place on the screen, the distorted portion of the display will change to a new location. As I type this now, the text will jump sideways then straighten back out. I have a screen video of the madness if that helps.
I have run the startup diagnostic tests and several virus scans. NADA!
This is a QT movie of the screen in action

Are you sure it didn't go to sleep?

@gliittzer although I could never be sure, I don't think it is sleeping. Sleepwalking perhaps. Annoying as !&&* for sure. PHOTO BOOTH has an effect called PSYCHOTIC. That's my Mac right now. Psychotic. Job's, if your ghost has found my machine, I acknowledge its presence. Please send a ransom note ASAP as I am ready to put this behind me.
