Apple has suggested to change my apple id I need the procedure?

I need to change my apple id in my laptop also It is mac book pro 2017 functional keys, since they say because of the apple id there are some back up issues with my i phone and that is the reason it behaves odd.Are we to have common apple id for all the apple systems .Please explain.

I purchased new i phone se and downloaded all my apps from my old i phone 5c it started behaving in an odd fashion, I requested my service provider to do the needful he re did the operating system and gave it back to me and I downloaded the backup from Mac book pro the same problem came the question should I have different apple id for my mac book pro & i phone se.Please guide me
