Can't get to power on

Laptop won’t power on

have 19v at the power cord

Adaptor shows 19v

I have a orange light that indicates battery/plugged in status

-it is flashing orange

Power button flashes once when pushed, but no fan spin or post

Google search reveals very little

Any ideas?

Normally you will need laptop schematics to check on the mainboard,

e.g. if power is supplied correctly, etc from voltage regulator, MOSFET, etc

So I'm not sure what I did, but I put it back together and was able to get it on. I wonder if there was some kind of short in the DC power receptacle that I have temporarily fixed when I put it back together.

You probably just didn't connect something correctly first time.

Did you clean out dust?

My guess is your laptop isn't getting the right electricity, it might be your power supply problem.

Did you take it to any service center?

(Note: Max time we use our laptop by plugging the charger. The power supply may be damaged due to this. So remember, try to use it after unplugging the charger every time.)
