New battery won't charge

I installed a new battery in my iPhone 8 and it won’t charge. Still shows only 1% after 3 hours on charger. All parts are Apple parts except for your new battery.

Hello! I have to mention, if you installed it yourself, it is likely not an apple battery :( unless it was pulled from another phone used. Try a new battery, to see if it is just defective. What was the problem initially?
