If the laptop is working OK except for the touchscreen, you should be able to replace just the touchscreen (digitizer) to get it working again.
Here’s a link to a supplier. It is shown just to give an idea of the cost and what to check to see if your model variant is compatible with the replacement part. You may find other suppliers online that suit you better. Just search for Asus Q304UA digitizer screen to get results.
I couldn’t find a screen replacement procedure for your particular laptop model but here’s a link to a video, that shows how to replace the screen in an Asus Q302LA which may be of some help. At least enough to give you a general idea of what is involved.
