Sony cd changer cx275 Ejects disk when put in.

I have not messed with any cd changers before but I had a customer wanting to know if I could take a look at his player. Instead of wasting his or my time I figured I’d come here first.

Customer has a Sony CX275 cd changer that hold 200 cds. When he puts one in it ejects it and will not play. I looked for some online to see what it looked like. I did find one, but it has since been discontinued.

Looking for some ideas before I tell the customer yes or no I can or can not work on it.
