Extra part for iPhone4, were does it goes. Now LED stays on?

Can you please help me figure out where these peaces. goes. I replaced the screen on my iPhone 4 but a copper peace by the camera popped out and cant figure out how it goes back in. It has a screw hole, and then goes to 2 prongs. I think it was under some tape, but no of the repair photos show this peace.

No my LED ligt stays on, even when turned off, dont know if this could cause it.

Any ideas.

Thanks

Hey, Derrick. Could this little guy be the part you are referring to (step 22 of the guide)? If so, just follow this guide from this step backwards to reinstall it.

Hope this helps!

Perfect, for some reason I didn't even see that step when replacing the glass, I will go back and see if it was there. There was tape on of this part, and when I took the board off it was stuck to it and couldn't figure out what it was for. But one question, I put this on and then the screw through it but does the prong side just hang or get tucked behind something. The way it looks like to me is it is meant to press against the top of the camera.

Do you think this small ground is what would cause the LED to stay on, seems like it would to me.

Thank you so much.

Glad it was the part you were looking for! And I believe the prong side is supposed to be pressed between the outer case and the top of the camera. Check out steps 14 and 15 and you should see where it sits. It could certainly be the reason the LED is staying on. Only one way to find out! Let us know how it works after reassembly.
