Appearance of line. Phone not dropped or pressure applied

Hi

Noticed this strange small Blue/green line appear last night whilst talking to a friend via text. It has since doubled in length today.

Very puzzled as I look after my phone very well and have not dropped, banged, placed it against anything that would cause this. It’s practically in mint condition, apart from this line now!!

Phone has protective screen shield on as well as a hard phone case.

Hi Angela,

perhaps your battery is in bad condition and is expanding - bending your screen and resulting in those line, mentioned by you.

Would you please check from a side view if the display has a bulge at that point of the display?

If yes, changing the battery is not a big problem. If this is not the case, we have to go on …
