Apple watch series 5 force touch sensor

Hi, I have just replaced the glass on my apple watch series 5, but I have to replace the force touch sensor, as it got a bit mangled in the process.

The series 4 is similar to series 5. Do they share the same force touch sensor?

Because I seem to only find replacements for series 4 and below.

Also does anyone know what is the right driver for the screw holding the force touch connector in place? That would be very helpful.

Thanks,

Rafal

Sorry, I just don’t know as I haven’t tried working on this series yet.

Let’s see if the iFixit folks know Apple Watch parts compatibility

Hi Rafal.

Unfortunately, the connectors of the Series 4 and Series 5 Force Touch Sensors are different (connector pins and length), so they are not compatible.

The driver for the plate screw would be a Tripoint #000.
