Hello,

I switched the backglass and the frame but since then my iPhone keeps restarting every 5 minutes. The new backframe arrived with parts like charging port, taptic engine. I’ve kept them inside. The crash report of analytics is:

Ive seen this happen a few times. When you put the motherboard back in, did you happen to tighten the screws too tight? Sometimes just that, will cause it to fritz and send it into boot loop which at that point, would have to be fully replaced because a part of the mobo is destroyed. Something just that small will cause it..

Ive seen this happen on almost every single model up to the XS max. It is possible

I Had the same problem with an iPhone X after replacing the charging port, Solved this simply using an original salvaged charging port, 100% fixed. Some aftermarket charging flex cable aren’t working on iOS 13.x, They’re messing with something related to the thermal system, and forcing a kernel panic. (PS=The phone will keep restarting without any charging port, too).

Hi, I have the same issue on an iPhone XS Max, it restarts it self only if I'm using it. The logs report the same error. It could be the charging port? Where I can find an original one?

You might have damaged the charging port flex. You can also check the USB IC under the microscope.

Check the charging port to see if there is any dust.

Or try restart it forcefully.

@vicmohamed : I agree with your solution to this problem. I too just replaced the charging port to a water damaged iPhone XS with an after market replacement- I had no idea why the XS kept restarting after exactly 3 minutes. I spent a good amount of time researching the problem, and narrowed it down to the phone’s analytic reports showing the thermal system not being communicated with and causing the Kernel Panic. I saw these postings, re-opened the XS, and replaced the charging port with the old OEM (cleaned with 99%ISO) charging port cable. Problem immediately solved. I hope everyone has a similar experience and gets their phone working! Good luck

I did not connect power board, vibration flexy and keys flexy in the charging socket. nevertheless, the device is turning off with the same error, CPU usage is 100%.

Damage to the wireless charging pad on the back of the phone.
