The reason Apple can't just fix the lens is because of the way the iPhone X is designed. Screen repairs cost $279, but a cracked lens would fall under "Other Damage," which is $549. I found this while shopping, I don’t know if this is what you are looking for but it might help.

Thank you. Elias, I really appreciate your taking the time to help but, it’s not what I was looking for. Have to be careful as parts are being sold in a deceiving manner. It’s the plastic LED flash lens that goes in the middle. This is just the so called camera and LED flash lens holder. Both the glass cover for the camera lens and LED lens do not come included with this part. Also missing is the microphone mesh........ Most you all probably have the holder with all parts included that you have salvaged from another iPhone. I repair iPhones most would throw away. So in my case, I can’t salvage these parts as they are cracked or have severe so called road rash from an angry girl friend or boy friend throwing the iPhone on the ground...... There are a lot of repair shops doing simple repairs. Sorry I’m not trying to put people down. I don’t want to compete with this as there isn’t much profit due to competition unless doing volume. To take it a step above, feed my family, I have to be a bit unique.

I’m facing this issue too while replacing the rear cover on my iPhone XS. The replacement cover somehow excluded the flash lens which seems to be bonded to the body of the original cover. Hope to see some answer to this.
