My phone is still running :
- i can still recieve calls
- i can still open the camera using the double tap power button
But i cant log into the phone because my UI is not showing no lockscreen no notification bar just black.
Its not a hardware problem i think its a software

The majority of the samsung phones screens will go black with they go faulty

If you really think that is a software problem, try to run the device in recovery mode and see if the screen is working before to repair it. You can even reset the device in order to go back to the initial state of the operative system.
