Can I change HDD to SSD disk for Mac Mini Mid 2011?

Mac mini Mid 2011

Released on July 21, 2011. Core i5 or Core i7 Processor. Thunderbolt. This unit is also used to run the Mac mini Server configuration.

I´ve been informed Mac OS does not support trim for SSD. If any what SSD can be used or can 3d party SSD be used somehow with trim?
