My volume won't work and I take screenshots.

So, today when I woke up I was taking screenshots of tabs so I wouldn’t lose them. After a couple of minutes, my Chromebook wouldn’t let me take anymore screenshots. I know it’s not because I have too many. I only have about 80 screenshots. After a while my sound button wouldn’t work either. And now I can’t take screenshots and turn my volume up or down so I’m kind of disappointed. Please help as soon as you can.
