How do I turn off my iPad when I accidentally took out my front panel

So I was following a guide in Front Panel replacement and I didn’t turn off my iPad before taking the front panel out.. Now I am in the process of taking out the LCD, how do I turn my iPad off?

Unplug the battery first then unplug the other cables. Unplugging the battery is the same as turning off the iPad.

To add to this, the battery connector is right next to the LCD connector as shown starting at Step 40 in the LCD replacement guide: iPad Mini 2 LTE LCD Replacement

Disconnect both and you’ll be good to go!
