My Ipad Air Won't Boot Up

I bought the I pad 2nd hand over a year ago with no issues however the screen had been replaced. Last week after an overnight charge the ipad wouldn’t boot up. I opened it up to find a screw that had held the screen in place had worked itself loose and resting across the bare terminals of the charging socket. Where do I start or do I simply bin it?

Thanks :)

Scott, the Lightning Port requires micro-soldering so it is not a trivial replacement. The vast majority of DIY fixers don't have the experience or tools to do this kind of repair so you should always point that out so people don't order parts they won't be able to use or get involved in a repair they can't complete.

Ok thanks for that info.
