iPod Stuck on Apple logo after Flash Storage mod

Hi!

I have a black and white iPod Classic and I recently bought the Micro SATA Cables CF to 50 Pin 1.8 IDE Adapter, a Digigear SDXCF SD SDHC SDXC to CF Type II Extreme/Ultimate Compact Flash Card Adapter, and a Samsung 64gb MicroSD to SD adapter.

After assembling the whole thing together, I was sadly met with a static apple logo.

I tried to go into disk mode with no success and diagnostic mode didn’t seem to do help me with anything.

Am I doing something wrong?

Have you tried a different SD card?

I haven't yet. Could that be the issue?

The 4 pins on the very left of the HDD cable are not plugged in! Unplug the drive (carefully), re-align, and plug in. Make sure all pins are in!

You’ll also need to reset the iPod, and reinstall the OS.

Good luck!
