How do I replace my tablet's LCD display?

I have a DigiLand dl8006 that was stepped on and the display broken. The glass itself is fine, and the touch seems fully functional, but when I turn it on the screen is completely messed up. I also have another tablet exactly the same that stopped charging a while ago but the screen worked fine. How, if possible, would I go about taking the working screen from the old one, and putting it onto the one with the broken screen?

You would take the main board out of the tablet with the broken screen and put it into the one with the working screen. That would be the easiest thing to do. If you do that you will be good to go!
