Over Saturated color and not fixed by calibration or factory setting

My 27” Cinema Display only shows images at very high color saturation - this is not affected by brightness and is not changes with calibration or return to factory settings. The Monitor is primarily for processing digital photos and this inability to view accurate color makes it useless. Please advise on how to fix
