Can I install osx tiger or snow leopa from my broken laptop onto this?

I have the installation disks and product key from the operating system that I installed on my now broken macbook pro. The install disks are for osx tiger and then later i purchased an upgrade disk to install snow leopard on that computer. I cant use that computer anymore due to hardware failure but I also own a power G4 MDD desktop computer which is only slightly older than my broken macbook pro. Will it work to install my operating system from the macbook pro onto the desktop device?

If you have the grey Tiger OS-X 10.4 disks they won’t have the support for your G4 PowerPC 7455 CPU unlike your MacBook Pro which had an Intel Core Duo or Core 2 Duo which uses a different OS kernel.

If you have retail version that will work! (picture of a Tiger on the disks). As it will have both, if not you’ll need to get Leopard OS-X 10.5.8 (picture of a Leopard on the disks).

Sadly Snow Leopard OS-X 10.6 is one version to high
