What is the speed of your Internet connection?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

This happens from time to time. I simply reseat the fire stick in it's HDMI port and it typically fixes the sound stutter. If doing that a few times does work try a different port on your TV.

Ok, I think I found a solution to this problem. So far, it has worked for me. I unplugged my internet modem and my WiFi router for 10 seconds. First, I plugged my modem back in and let it start completely back up. Once it started, I plugged my WiFi router back in and let it start back up. Internet speeds and WiFi speeds much faster now. No more sound cutting in and out.

There are 2 main possible causes.

1) The speed of your Internet is too slow. Most content requires about 3mbps to function normally.

2) There isn't enough power going to your Fire stick. When it is low in power it will be slower than normal with possible reboots when it tries to do intensive processing.

All problems are not created equally. But this worked for me. I simply put it on pause for a couple minutes. Then started it, problem solved. Clearly a buffering problem.

This is not the solution.. This

Happens with alot of peoples. I've borrowed firesticks that work fine on one tv; but another tv the audio is either non existent or stuttering; video playback works completely fine. Still have not found a fix myself besides use my other tv. Hope a real article comes out with true fixes.

I tried turning off the Dolby, didnt work. So then I tried changing the resolution of the video from 1080 to 720 and presto! No more stuttering audio. My TV is about a 42 in so it doesnt seem to make the picture any different for me , but maybe a larger TV would not show the crisper video. Idk, but it worked for me

My fire stick audio started skipping g a few weeks ago and I had no idea why. I tried a few things but nothing worked until one day I realized that my echo dot had connected to my fire stick/tv. Once I disconnected the Dot from the fire stick (simply by saying “Alexa disconnect from FireTv”), it started working perfectly again.

My audio is robotic, stuttering, etc., at first it only occurred while watching Disney+. Now it is happening on the other apps as well. If I stop/go back out then continue watching the movie or change the channel then go back to the original channel the issue stops…for a lil while. My LG is approximately 3 years old. I’ve cleared the cache on all the apps. My internet speed is the fastest available and generally speaking, there maybe 3 devices tops using the internet at any one time(one of which is connected via ethernet) SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Now I’m going to try 1st reseating the hdmi etc and see what happens…..wish me luck
