Why do my apps keep crashing and how can I make table run better?

Almost every time i try opening an app on my tablet it takes forever for it to try opening and then if it works it will run slow, but A LOT of the time it will crash and not work at all and I won't be able to use the apps. I am also trying to figure out how to make it run better
