The HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus is identifiable by its model number: N911g. Released in 2011, the printer can be identified by its brown finish and touchscreen control panel.

How to remove jammed sticky label that came off when printing labels?

I was printing labels in the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus all-in-one.

Suddenly the squished paper noises happened and the everything stopped. Clearing the page of labels, I found that the top label was disappeared into the depths of the printer. Neither looking in the back after removing the ADF, nor in the front after opening the Ink cartridges door, shows anything obvious.

Now I realise that I CAN see a tiny bit of the label right over at the RH end next to the idle ink carriage. And I think I can see a white line - with the help of a torch - when I peer from the ADF side (ie now at LH side) where the paper would come through after its 180 degree turn and before the printing happens.

No tweezers seem small enough or long enough to get in there without pulling the top off. ANY suggestions please?

unplug it from current , while have the print head a away, and try to get it. If there is no way to get it and not have issues printing, let it there , or you can use nursery syringe staff to pull it out or in, or add some alcohol to let the paper melt and become stickiness.
