Can't get my bike to shift into gear

I have a Honda 93 model VT 1100 shadow. My clutches went out so I decided to change them. I did so and now I can't get it to shift into gear.

I got everything correct and I even bleed the master cylinder but my push rod that pushes the clutch disc out is only pushing it like not even a quarter of an inch

It would make sense to most when you did the repairs you missed something or didn't align something correctly. Or you forgot the shift pin to move the clutches. My suggestion is to check your work over and if you had any parts left over you may have to tear it back apart and figure out what you missed.

Did you make sure your friction and steel plates were aligned in the basket?

Also did you torque the clutch pack down the the correct specification, in the correct sequence. If it is a hydraulic clutch then you may have to bleed it and if cable adjust it.
