Raise to wake...I would assume that has to do with the accelerometer (U3010) or perhaps the Discreet Accel (U3030). I would probe around those circuits to see if anything is amiss. As for the laggy Home Button, my first thought was the battery too. However, you may want to install a generic HB to see if the problem goes away.
