Can't factory rest my phone

My phone is stuck and I can't do anything. I tried a factory reset but the android thing just lays on his back and it won't do anything. When I do try to factory reset, it just says no command. P,lease help! I have to keep hitting any button on the phone and I get green squares on my icons.
