Wife's note 3 won't download as fast as my note 3

Both my wife and I have note 3's. Both AT&T handsets, running on straight talk. All setting are identical. While mine loads pages, picts ect. My wife's will sit there (most of the time) with the little downloading spinning symbol. Even on wifi, her phone is very slow. That kinda let's me know that it may be a processing problem, thus, a motherboard problem. Anyone have any thoughts?

Actually, they both be side by sde. I have tried both on wifi, and on 4g. Hers is always slower, a lot of time, not even able to completely download something.

Hi Keith, first, I would suggest removing your email. This site is a top google search result so your email is exposed to the world, literally.

About the phone, have both phones downloaded the same software updates? I know since its on Straight Talk, and not AT&T, its no longer possible to download software updates, but check settings --> About Phone, and see if all the software version, baseband, etc are all the same.

You can put her phone in recovery mode, and clear cache.

Follow the instructions here.

Thanks. Although she left hers at work today, best to my knowledge, both are identical in every setting that I have been able to check. Even done a factory reset last week.

Check "About Phone" those aren't settings that can be changed, only a manual software download from AT&T servers.

One may be connected to a slower cell tower. And if one is on LTE or 3G and the other on 2G it will go slower. Also free up some space on the phone.

@paperboypaddy, Doesn't account for slower WiFi.

If the software is a different build It may have a software bug?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

That's what I am think, one phone didn't get AT&Ts latest baseband patches.

I’m not exactly sure how to solve this issue. But you can try contacting at&t about this.
