The Nokia 6086 is a well-built, basic camera phone with the ability to make calls via Wi-Fi.

6086 won't turn on completely when text memory is full.

(Possibly in combo with when battery dies)..unless sim card removed. W/ sim card in, it will get past Nokia screen to white screen with time and battery indicator..eventually goes black & shuts off. (As the memory is filling up, it took longer & longer to turn on, til it couldn't turn on at all.) With sim card out, it turns on and gets menu, but says 'memory not ready' for all text menu (so can't clear memory), and gets stuck on a waiting screen for galley & apps. Basic reset doesn't help, restore settings code (*#7370#--takes forever to look like it's doing something) doesn't help either...same wallpaper. Returned 3 times under warranty...1st they did factory reset, then software upgrade, then replaced the phone. Now the new phone is doing it too, but no longer under warranty. Can I do a factory reset on my own? (My carrier doesn't allow software upgrades...if I can even do one w/out the sim.)
