My Electrolux blender EBR 2700k , unused not starting.

I don't know how to get my blender to work . It's not starting. The plastic pin seen under the blender is out. It's giving to me by a friend so don't have warranty paper, though it's unused. Written 2 year warranty on it but don't know how to get it checked. Is there anything I can do to start except for plugging in and turning the knob.

First thing I would do is to ask your friend what its history is so you can get an idea of where to look.

@simmikumari it is possible that this is caused by a micro switch not properly engaging. Your blender should have a safety system which prevents the blender from operating if the jar is not properly seated. take some good pictures of the area where the jar sits so we can see what you see. Use this guide for that. Possibly we can point out where to test.
