The Canon EOS Rebel T3i, released in March 2011, can be identified by its SKU (SKU:5169BO32). Also known as the EOS 600D and the EOS Kiss X5, this camera is a Canon Digital SLR with 18 megapixels.

My LCD screen won't come on.

I works on video. I works when holding focus photo button halfway down. I'm fairly sure it's the LCD sensor/ eye piece. I think it's registering my face up to it all the time. I've tried all other troubleshooting suggestions.

Hi,

Have you tried the extra switch for the LCD? Take a look here. The issue might also be connected to certain settings of the camera.

My T3i had totally inoperative LCD screen. It would take pictures (although I couldn’t see them) but would not go into video mode. I changed to a different SD card and then it worked. I assume there were too many files even though there was plenty of free space. After I relocated a bunch of files from under DCIM folder the first SD card started working. gareth in Ohio
