Take it to Apple if time is a concern.
For perspective, I could only get LCD panels for the 12" Retina (released around March 2015) October or November 2015, with LCD assemblies being released 1-2 months after this.
No one knows when the screens will be available unfortunately, but I would predict summer this year :(

You might first try calling Apple and ask for the price on a "Flat Rate Repair". This can often be much cheaper than taking it directly to an Apple store. It also retains your warranty.
