Replaced Batt on 3G I turn On Cant Connect to Itunes

Replaced the battery last night as per the instructions. Purchased it from Ifix it. com for my 3g 8gb model. Turned on phone and it showed the connect usb to itunes diagram. I did so but my MAC does not recognize the phone.

Disassembled for a second time to confirm that all cables and battery were o.k. No discreancies were found.

I proceeded to try and get a restore as per the reccomendations at the site and can get it to recognize. I ve read that almost everyone has been able to connect to the itunes.

Do you have any suggestions? Should I check the battery part no?

Rechecked connection 4 and it was ok. also checked connection 1 which seems to get loose the easiest compared to others.

With the phone turned off, plug the USB cable into the phone and then into the computer. Does it turn on? If not, your dock connection is bad -- recheck connection 4 to see if any of the tiny pins in the connector are damaged.
