Hyundai Grand i10 How do I clean AC filter?

Hyundai Grand i10 has a problem with AC (at least mine has), ac filter usually gets jammed and cooling becomes bad, I have to take it for service every couple of months.

Can someone please help me know how to do it myself, will save me lot of trouble and money.

open the ac air filter
blow presserized air on both sides
take a hard brush and put under low tap water flow and scrub both sides with the help of brush

* take a detergent, say a shampoo(leaves a nice fragrance) and then pour it over filter on both sides and again scrub with brush thorougly and leave it for 10 mins
