Black color ist not printing correct

Hi there,

My printer does not print straight black lines anymore. All other colors are straight printed.

If I print the quality report the black Box looks horrible. No straight lines, not all of the box is printed black.

Do you have any suggestions, what I cold do?

I have got an answer from the hp Support how to get to the secret support menu.

There I should make a semi reset of the printer. Unfortunately without any success.

Hi @gotti123456 ,

Way out thought.

Check if your printer settings are set up for bi-directional printing. If so disable it and see if it helps.

How could I check this?

Hi, Apologies, I cannot find if your printer supports bi-directional printing. (That means that it prints in both directions i.e. when travelling from left to right and right to left. This is done to speed up the printing process.)

If it is available it should be somewhere in the printer preferences area.

I already tried all The maintenance programs several times without any success. Lines are still not straight and the box is not correct filled with the Black color.

Hi,

Just verifying that you have done the following.

1. Checked the Black cartridge ink level is sufficient,

2. Checked the Black cartridge vent area is not clogged.

3. Done a printhead clean.

Here is a link that shows you how.
