Digitizer connector not correct

Hello fellow ifixer's

I have a HTCD100L at the shop and when I research it, it says the model is a Desire 526. So i got the screen replacement on ebay and when I went to put the new glass on the digitizer flex was not the same as the OEM. I get that happens with copies but this one wouldn't fit in the connector. In the end i put the original cracked screen back on and have no idea what to order now I cant seem to find a identical digitizer flex on any of the desire 526 replacements. So Im not sure what model it actually is, does anybody have experience with the HTCD100L?
