use vacuum to remove broken screen?

has the vacuum been tried to remove the broken glass on ipad A1395 before? are there potential hazards with this idea?

Are you trying to pull off the entire screen with a vacuum? The problem is that the digitizer screen is attached to the wifi antenna and power/volume flex, so if you just pull it up without separating those first, you will damage them. You would be better off using heat to soften the adhesive, then carefully separating the digitizer from the frame while being especially careful in those two areas.

You can put clear packaging tape over the entire screen, and that helps hold the shards together while removing the screen.

Watch an entire video. Then watch it again while you are doing it. Take your time. Glass does end up all over. I use compressed air and a clean lint free cloth.

Do you mean placing the entire iPad under vacuum or using a household vacuum? I can't see how it would be useful thou.
