replace USB & SD board with USB-C (linux)

From the teardown in particlar steps 16-17 we can see that the port on the right side of the laptop (2x USB, HDMI, min-VGA, and headjack) are all part of the motherboard).

However, the post on the left side are not. This is a separate board. I would ike to replace this board with a USB type C board, so that I can directly connect USB-C accesories. It doesn't have to be pretty.

As a note I use Arch Linux.
