Revamped version of the iPhone 3G with faster processing speeds. Repair of this device is similar to the 3G, and requires simple screwdrivers and prying tools. Model A1303 / 8, 16 or 32 GB capacity / black or white plastic back.

iPhone syncs to computer but won't charge - What do I replace?

I accidentally slept on my iPhone last night and broke some things. :-(

The display backlight is gone so I know I'll be replacing the display assembly.

The other issue is that the iPhone no longer charges when plugged in, either to a computer or a wall adapter. This has been tested with multiple cables.

It still syncs fine with the computer, it just doesn't pull any power.

What do I have to replace to make it work?

Sounds like you need a new battery too (if not, then you have to replace the whole logic board, so I'd try the battery first).
