My power adapter pooped out last month for my xbox one. Just found and used my old 203 watt xbox 360 power adapter. Opened case and resoldered the wires color for color. (TOOK LITERALLY 5 MIN.)amps are 16.5, 47-63hz. Exact same as the xbox one. Guess watt? No sparks!!!! Running a kinect and external hard drive. That extra 3 watts actually makes my xbox one run better. I have noticed a decrease in lag by a long shot on a lot of games. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it but it is working faster than ever. No overheating. I have my cable tv thru my xbox so it is on for 16+ hours a day. I'm at 5 weeks and no problems. I also saved myself 50 bucks and recycled what would have been tossed at some point.
- All you uneducated idiots posting USELESS INFO do your *******,* research before you go misleading and misinforming people. Also your the ones that look like ########## now. Hope this saves someone else a few bucks!
***Note-only use the 203 watt origin xbox 360 brick as it matches the xbox ones needs. Please make sure to check and double check.
- also don't be an idiot obviously make sure everything has been unplugged for at least an hour before you play with any of the power adapters to avoid shock.

Had same problem with Xbox one power brick. Looked on you tube and found that Xbox 360 power brick will work with Xbox one. The ends are completely different, had to cut off ends and use end from Xbox one on Xbox 360 power brick. Wires are a little different, had to wire the following way:
All yellows are marretted together
All black from 360 and blacks and 1 grey from Xbox one end are marretted together
Blues marretted together
Reds marretted together
Works awesome, saved money from buying new brick
