What is this part for my iPhone 4s?

I am trying to replace my battery, and I lost a part while doing the repair. LOL

It's a very small component, and I've added a picture here:

My phone is still working, but I am worried about that piece.

Please help me.

The part that you are referring to is your contact clip.

It's called out here.

Specifically it's a contact clip, while it may have a specific purpose (we believe grounding) your phone should still work just fine.

thank you. sir.

lossing contact clip mean's i can't save new phone number or i'm risking phone numbers delete in iphone 4s?

Nope. Has nothing to do with the contacts/phone numbers in your phone. That contact is completely software based. This contact point is hardware based, where the clip connects via a 'metal finger' to the rear panel.
