I've recently changed a screen out on an iPhone 6 and since then, the rear camera works, but when I switch to front camera, it does a freeze frame of the last image from the rear camera.

I've seen this issue before.
First- reseat the connection for the camera cable. It may just not be connected well.
Second- If that does not fix the issue you may need to replace the Camera Flex cable.

Either the front camera flex cable assembly is damaged or not plugged in properly.
