replacement battery life doesn't last much longer then the 1 I replace

I just ordered a replacement kit with battery from you guys and it arrived 2 days ago. Installation went perfect. Installed new battery with no issues at all. However, the past 2 days i noticed that the new battery does not last much longer the 2 1/2 year old battery i just replaced. I am not using it anymore then i usually do, and my old battery would have about 10-15% life by the time i got home from work and then new battery is giving me 20-30% by the time i get home from work. There is only about 10 hours from the time i unplug it in the morning until i get home. Besides some facebook and texting i do not use it to do much else. I feel the battery life should be a lot better then it is. Could you please tell me if this is a faulty battery or not?

Not a faulty battery. Its just how iPhone 4/4s/5/5s/5c are. The battery capacity are almost the same throughout all those. Most you can do is just turn off stuff and close background apps. Maybe a system restore may help

Yeah. Try turning off your background app refresh. Make sure your wifi/Bluetooth are off, when not using it. Turn of your location services

Many Batteries that are new need to be conditioned for usage and to do that you need to not charge it until your software on your phone tells you that it has a low charge. Which means to not put it on a charger when it is at or close to half charge. Always wait until it says it is at around 10% charge or less.

Because if you charge it at anything higher than 10% charge then your battery will last a shorter life-time.
