Replaced screen, left side of digitizer does not work.

Before gluing the screen, I tested the digitizer and it seemed to be working, but after I finished the assembly, the left side (about 1/4th) of the digitizer and a portion of the top (about 1/2) of the digitizer don't respond to input.

Is there a way to fix this without replacing the screen again?

It is "working" (for some applications) to simply rotate the screen to do the inputs on the part of the digitizer that are working, but not optimal.

Unfortuntly you will need to replace the digitizer again, a common mistake is when the cable gets pinched between the glass and the aluminume frame. This happens when the digitizer cable get stuck to the adhesive on the back of the glass while installing the digitizer. Make sure the cable folds twords the lcd during install.

Check where the digitizer plugs in, my one side was lifted slightly higher on the one side and was causing about one inch of dead area along the left side of my iPad 2, gently pushed it back down till it matched the other side and problem was solved hope this
