Trigger control won't work correctly after dropping drill

I've had my Dewalt DWD112 drill now for almost a year now with no problems. I've dropped this drill before and it's gone through a lot but the other day it fell not even 4 feet and now the trigger control is non responsive, and I have no idea what could have gone wrong or how to properly fix it. Any help on this would be awesome.

Hi @alexmac14 I have 2 solutions for you the first one is sending it into an authorized dewalt repair shop and this link will put you where you need to be for that http://www.dewalt.com/Find-Service-Cente... all you have to do is fill out the service locator and you can ship the drill or take it to the repair shop yourself. The second solution is to replace the switch which can be found here http://www.ereplacementparts.com/vsr-swi...this place sells genuine dewalt replacement parts and is the place I use when I need parts for my tools. I am also thinking you could've damaged the wires to so I would replace those just to be thorough and all I can find is a video on how to replace the switch it may not be exact model but same design here is the video link https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=x3LQ4LPAWC... now with that said I am going to say I never had to replace a drill switch before but I am sure you damaged your electronic break but here is a repair guide http://www.ereplacementparts.com/article... keep in mind they use a cordless tool as an example but I watched the video and read the article to and it looks like the repair is comparable but I do suggest you read the whole guide before starting the repair. Just to see what your getting into and if you have the instruction manual for your drill you should look at the diagram page because that is a great reference guide. I hope this helps you out.
