Replaced display and now it just beeps, no picture

No display on a replacement display assembly Installed, it just beeps.??

Update (04/05/2016)

1 beep every couple of seconds. When I unplug it and plug it back in, beep stops and display may work but pop-up message says restart computer. I have restarted it several times and can't get rid of this message or do anything else.

Is there a pattern of repeating beeps. Anywhere from one to five. They mean different things.

Sounds like a RAM issue. I had the same problem on my Macbook Pro. ended up needing to replace the logic board. (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202768)
