Lcd replacement gone wrong

Changed the lcd on a 6s and when I went to go connect the digitizer and other connectors smoke came up is this a new thing on the 6s where the connectors can touch the wrong receivers and when I turned it on it was very dim

Did you turn off the phone and unplug the battery before plugging in the screen? I really don't know why some people in repair shops don't do that.

It sounds like something has shorted on the board. Did you disconnect and remove the battery? Not doing so means there is still power going through the board (even if the phone is powered off)

Only other thing I can think of is a static discharge has damaged the screen connectors

back light fuse is gone . It`s more common than you would think when you preform repair on the phone without disconnecting battery. Solution is to find some one who could replace that fuse.
